The
game combines for the first time Poker with Quiz to make a
truly unique game. In Knowledge Poker you need to answer
more questions correct than your opponents to win, however
you do not get to see what the other players answer during
the game – you have to figure that out yourself! This means
that you in Knowledge Poker can bluff your way to victory –
just like regular Poker. |

In
Outsmart we decide how much you can Raise. This allows you to
concentrate on answering the questions correctly, however, don’t
quit if you don’t get all the questions right...
Stay cool, bluff, and convince the other players that you are the
smartest at the table!

KNOWLEDGE POKER needs 2 to 6 players.
The first Question Round begins with 3 multi
choice questions. You have 15 seconds to
choose your answer to each question. After you have chosen an
answer, the correct answer will be revealed and the next question
will be shown. There are a total of 3 Question Rounds in the game –
the first one has 3 questions, the second has 2 questions and the
third round has only 1 question. Plan your strategy well –
everything can happen during the game!
The unique factor in KNOWLEDGE POKER is that you do not
get to see how the other players answer –
neither they know your answers. This feature
means that in KNOWLEDGE POKER it is possible to bluff your way to
victory – just like regular Poker.
After you have answered the 3 questions, you
come to the first Betting Round. This is where your Pokers skills
are needed. Just like Poker, you can either Check (do nothing), Fold
(leave the game), or Raise (put more money into the pot – forcing
the other players to put in the same amount or leave the game).
The other player(s) must either bet the same amount of money or
leave the game, thereby forfeiting all earlier bets. There are a
total of three Betting Rounds in each game – one for each Question
Round – so don’t get too cocky at the beginning. A lot can change
during the game!
The winner is the player who has answered the
most questions correctly at the end of a game (6
questions). If two or more players have the same number of correct
answers, the pot is divided equally between these players. However,
if you succeed in forcing all the other players out during the
Betting Rounds, you win – no matter how many correct answers you
have. The actual number of correct answers you have does not have to
revealed.

OUTSMART needs 2 to 10 players.
The first Question Round begins
with a multi-choice question appearing on the
left-hand side of your screen. You have 15 seconds
to choose an answer. If you have not answered within
this time limit, you will automatically show an
incorrect answer.
After you have answered the
question, you are shown the correct answer. In
OUTSMART you cannot see what the other players
answer during the game - neither can other
players see your results. This
enables you to bluff and pretend you have more
correct answers than you really have.
After answering the first
question, to stay in the game you must place a
Forced Bet. The Forced Bet will always be the same
as the entry fee. If you choose not to pay the
Forced Bet, then you Fold (are out of the game) and
lose the money you have already placed in the pot.
After placing the Forced Bet, you are shown the
second question. After answering that question, you
once again have to pay the Forced Bet to see the
third question and stay in the game. The game
consists of a total of 10 questions, with each
question followed by a Forced Bet.
The winner is the player who
has answered the most questions correctly at the end
of a game (10 questions).
